When did you join Raise the Bar?

I joined Teen Crossfit at Raise the Bar in the summer of 2013.

Did you have any past fitness experience before RtB?

Before RtB, I did gymnastics, soccer, and Taekwondo.

How has the gym impacted your life?

It has made me more strong mentally and physically. It has made me think more about health and nutrition in my everyday life. Last but not least, it has made me a better person and more confident.

What is RtB’s community like in the Teen CrossFit class?

We all have become great friends, and I care so much for all of my fellow athletes. They are all so nice, funny, and supportive to each other: these are my best friends.

Describe RtB in one sentence.

RTB is my second family and that is what makes me such a great athlete.

What have you learned from your experience with RtB?

I have learned to be a better person, a leader, and a role model to my peers in and out of the gym.

Lastly, what piece of advice would you have for someone just beginning their fitness journey?

To anyone just beginning their fitness journey: just do your best! Don’t give up and make the best of every workout.
